[ Leaving New Bark Town was his ultimate priority. Despite the fact that he had been well supplied by whoever it was who called herself "Mom", it didn't sit well with him. That person wasn't his mother. There was just no way. That being said, it left a rather unpleasant taste in his mouth. So the boy and his Pokemon had finally settled themselves underneath a tree on Route 29, for him to sort things out and for the Pokemon to go around and play by herself as she was want to do.

The Happiny can be found running around in the background, diving in and out of the tall grass as Yukio sinks down against the tree. ]

I'm not sure how far this network goes but I figured there should be other people out there who can hear me and can maybe answer a few questions.

My name is Yukio Okumura, exorcist, middle first class of True Cross Academy. If there's anyone else from True Cross or anyone who has any idea where it is and how I can get back, I'd appreciate it.

[ He frowns a bit. The next part is a bit of a long stretch but it's worth a try. ]

Also, does anyone know of a Rin Ok--

[ Before he can say his brother's name, he's suddenly interrupted by loud crying. In the background, you can clearly see his Happiny had tripped and is currently bawling its little eyes out. ]

Airi?

[ He gets up, turning to look behind the tree. ]

Airi, I told you to be careful.

[ With a sigh, he decides to head over there before cutting the feed. ]

Ah!

[Well hello there, Yukio, have a ~~dear god NOOOO~~ girl blinking at the camera.]

Rin's my friend, are you...? [She squints and tilts her head, looking over Yukio. Maybe if Rin's hair wasn't as unkempt...] His brother?

[Gosh won't Rin be excited to see that a family member is here!]

Sorry, there's no way to get back to True Cross...or our worlds in general, really. We're all stuck here.

[ His brother is actually here? ...wait, his brother has friends? His delinquent angry at everything never goes to school brother has friends. What kind of mad world is this.

But he's got the Happiny on his lap, looking her flipper-paws and feet over before turning his attention to the camera. ]

Yeah, I am. Though I wasn't sure he'd be here either...

[ Because right now, he's thinking a certain harlequin-demon-dog is behind all this. But the last bit is a cause for attention. ]

Our worlds? You mean... you're from another world?

[ Fancy that. ]

I was told that there's no way to return home by your own will, but, uh... everything stays the same back home. As for your friend, I'm afraid I don't know anyone with that name--I just got here a few days ago myself. I'm sorry I can't be of much help.

_{[He pauses and gives the Happiny a concerned look.]}

Um... Is it okay? Your pokémon, I mean.

He is, he arrived a few weeks before you.

And yes, I am. I mean, I do come from a world where students work for a specialized Academy like you and Rin, but it's not True Cross.

[Oops did she drop a spoiler bomb.]

But...you're going to meet a lot of people that have been pulled here from their own worlds and have since started their, um, "Pokemon journey."

He isn't my friend. He's my brother.

[ There's a small sigh from that, holding the Happiny up who seems to respond quite positively to the attention. She's stopped crying at least and is actually laughing at being held up. ]

I guess she's okay. Doesn't look like anything's hurt or broken by the looks of things.

[ Attention back on the camera. ]

I kind of just got here myself, too. There's probably not too much about this place anyone would know within the first week or so, I'd guess.

Weeks?

[ That just didn't add up. Last he saw of Rin was when he was rushing out of the church to hurry to work. That was probably ten-fifteen minutes ago. But he takes the rest with a small knot in his brow as he decides to think this through.

Meanwhile, Airi's gotten fussy on his lap. ]

Do you know how many of us there are?

Time gets screwed up here from what I've experienced, not that anybody from my own world has arrived, but I've noticed it.

[She frowns at the Happiny for a moment, then grabs something out of view to the camera and holds it up. It's a Pokedoll! She shakes it to get Airi's attention, then makes it dance across the screen as she continues.]

He hasn't mentioned anyone else arriving here, he said that he was alone when I first met him. ...He doesn't have the right badges either, or else I'd loan him a Pokemon that can fly to come out and meet you. Unless...

[She's thinking.]

Are you a trainer or a breeder?

Ah... Sorry. Um... If you don't find him over the network, you might find someone in Cherrygrove who knows him. At least that's where I was told to head if I couldn't find my friends through it.

_{[But the confirmation that it was okay was a relief. He didn't admit it, but seeing his own Vulpix get hurt from a wild Pidgey was unnerving enough--he actually ended up chasing it off so he could tend to it.]}

I'd say your best bet would be to find someone who's been here a little longer than I have for the smaller details--even the woman in the house I woke up in didn't really answer my questions, so I don't know how much help the other natives can be.

[ The Pokedoll seems to have the Happiny's attention. Of course, Yukio notices this and decides to try and pick one up when he sees one in any store. He's making quiet notes on everything, really.

That question though... ]

I guess I'm a trainer.

[ He's never played through an entire game yet. ]

[ Cherrygrove. More notes on his mental To-Do list. If his brother doesn't respond to this message, he'll head there too.

That frown comes back though at the mention of that woman. It still unnerves him. It seemed so pre-programmed. That was definitely not his mom. His mom is not here and never will be. ]

I think I'll do that. There's got to be someone here who knows something.

Hmmm, then I can't loan you mine. My friends would notice if I just disappeared somewhere to boot. Sorry I can't help more, but...Rin might figure out a way.

[The Pokedoll dancing stops and Maka makes it wiggle its arms at Airi as a "hello."]

My name is Maka, by the way, it's nice to meet you. Rin didn't tell me much about the exorcist thing, but I can tell it's pretty important and he's a nice guy, so if you're his brother you're probably really nice too. [Maka it doesn't work that way stop blindly trusting people.]

I'm sure there's someone. It's just a matter of finding them I think. I mean, it's not like we're the only people here, so... someone has to know more than what I was told.

_{[Even though he's incredibly grateful for Latvia and Walter's help, it didn't make him feel any less lost.]}

Ah--my name is Bertholdt, by the way. I could keep an eye out for him and ask around when I get to town in the morning if you'd like. _{[Assuming Berik doesn't decide to goof around and run off with his boot like he did earlier. Foxes, man.]}

...Oh! It's you! The silly Rin's twin brother!

["The silly Rin"...what on earth.]

I told him that you would show up sooner or later, silly thing tried to say that he didn't need company besides his Pokemon, yet...here you are!

[Well, he can see the resemblance. Minus those moles, of course.]

Yeah, I know Rin. I take it you're his brother, right?

Hello Okumura Yukio-san! Please do not be alarmed, there are many others here who are in the same situation as you. One of them being your brother, actually! He misses you very much, so I'll be sure to send him the message that you're here now - unless he stumbles upon this himself, of course.
